Anyone else prefer meeting travelers over a shared task instead of a meal?

I have noticed the best conversations I have had with people passing through happened while doing something ordinary together: fixing a bike, sorting a market stall, walking a dog. Something about working side by side gets past the small talk faster than sitting across a table. Curious if others here have noticed the same thing, and what activity worked for you.

Yes, I think it is important to have face-to-face interaction, which means the connection is more realistic and sincere. As the words, the tone and also the facial expression is very important. In any communication, and this kind of communication would be very meaningful in a lot of sense where human connection is a real. That is the reason why the social interactions between human-to-human is the most important part of building civilization. In addition mutual understanding between different people of the world will be easier. We can change the world if we have more interaction with the people outside of our bubble and it will strengthen the trust and confidence.
